Personal Finance Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $90 - $110/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Complete real-world personal finance workflow tasks, such as reviewing transactions, budgeting, and account organization.
- Apply expert judgment to provide guidance on UK-specific personal finance topics with clear and concise explanations.
- Assess and critique AI-generated financial advice against defined rubrics, delivering actionable feedback.
- Verify and review financial documentation to illustrate UK consumer financial management practices.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of evaluation rubrics and grading criteria for personal finance outputs.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes in UK personal tax, pension, and savings legislation.

Requirements
- Formal education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
- Have strong relevant experience in personal finance roles focused on UK household matters.
- Professional background in banking, wealth management, financial advising/planning, accountancy, or tax planning.
- Professional credentials such as CFP, DipPFS, FCA-authorised IFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA, ATT; CFA or CTP are a plus.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial topics into accessible language.
