Finance Analyst – Transformation

£50,000 – £60,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits

Central London (Hybrid – 3-4 days in office)

PE-backed Technology Business

A large, complex, international technology business is seeking a Finance Analyst – Transformation to support a major global transformation programme during a period of significant change.

This is a newly created and highly visible role, working closely with the Transformation PMO and senior leadership to provide financial reporting, analysis, governance support and business insight. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining the reporting and analytics required to measure progress, track benefits and support successful delivery of transformation objectives across the organisation.

The role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to play a key part in improving processes, systems and ways of working across a complex international business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a major, multi-year global transformation programme
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting, dashboards and performance metrics to track programme progress and key outcomes
  • Provide financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and benefits tracking across transformation workstreams
  • Analyse programme costs, benefits and variances, providing clear insight to support decision-making
  • Support governance processes and ensure accurate, consistent reporting across multiple workstreams
  • Partner with Finance, Transformation, operational stakeholders and external consultants to provide financial and commercial insight
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of reporting tools, systems and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analytics, automation and enhanced reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of financial reporting
  • Provide analysis and insight to senior Finance and Transformation stakeholders
  • Support the development of processes and controls to ensure robust programme reporting
  • Contribute to wider transformation initiatives and ad hoc analysis as required

Candidate Profile

You will have experience within a Finance Analyst, FP&A, Reporting, Commercial Finance or Transformation environment, ideally within a large, complex or international organisation. You will be highly analytical, commercially minded and comfortable working with financial and operational data to produce clear and actionable insight.

  • Advanced Excel skills are essential, including strong experience with Power Query, Power Pivot and Pivot Tables. Experience with SAP and financial reporting tools is also highly desirable, alongside strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • You will be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across Finance and non-Finance teams. Experience supporting transformation programmes or working closely with PMOs would be advantageous.
  • A part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) would be advantageous, although relevant Finance Analyst experience will also be considered.
  • Experience with Power BI, Python, VBA, AI or automation would be particularly attractive.
