Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Duxford, is looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) looking to develop their analytical skills and gain valuable commercial finance experience within a supportive environment.

Working closely with senior finance leaders, you'll play a key role in providing financial insight, supporting business performance, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports and management information.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and variance analysis.
  • Develop financial models to support business decisions.
  • Produce KPI reporting and performance dashboards.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to provide financial insight and challenge where appropriate.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects as required.

About You

  • Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA (or actively studying).
  • Previous experience in an analytical finance role, management accounts, or commercial finance.
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse data.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and keen to continue developing professionally.
