Financial Analyst
Waltham Cross, Herts
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Ready to take the next step in your finance career? We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our team in Waltham Cross. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in improving reporting, strengthening financial insight and helping the business make smart, data-led decisions. Working closely with the Financial Controller and Operations team, you’ll have the chance to challenge current processes, spot opportunities for improvement and make a real impact across our manufacturing businesses.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create, maintain and regularly update costing models for our manufacturing businesses.
- Review current data-gathering and reporting practices, challenging the status quo to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Keep systems up to date with current customer and supplier pricing.
- Partner with Operations colleagues to build financial awareness and drive stronger overall performance.
- Develop financial models to assess the feasibility and profitability of new business activities and opportunities.
- Support commercial tenders by gathering information and completing cost analysis.
- Analyse financial data across commercial operations to assess profitability, cost-effectiveness and revenue generation.
- Maintain accurate pricing files on the system.

What we’re looking for:
- Degree-level education, or equivalent experience, within a finance discipline.
- Solid experience in a senior accounting or finance role.
- A logical, methodical approach with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data.
- A clear, confident communicator who can build positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
