FP&A Analyst (12-Month Contract) | Hybrid | Basingstoke
Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning data into insight and influencing business decisions?
We're looking for an FP&A Analyst to join a high-performing finance team supporting a Northern European business hub. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys business partnering, forecasting, financial analysis, and driving continuous improvement through data, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the business.
- Develop and maintain forecast models, monitor accuracy, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyse financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Prepare month-end reporting and financial commentary.
- Partner with budget holders to understand spend, forecast accuracy, and business performance drivers.
- Support business cases, strategic projects, and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, and HR.
- Drive efficiencies through automation, AI tools, and improved reporting processes.

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capability.
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Interest in automation, AI-enabled working, and continuous improvement.
- Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, VBA, Python, SAP, or SAC would be advantageous.
