Finance Analyst – FX
Up to £550/day | Derby | Hybrid
I’m working with a major global engineering organisation looking to appoint an experienced Finance Analyst for an initial 12-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
This is a technically focused finance role where foreign exchange reporting and revaluation experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Quarterly FX revaluation and reporting
- FX deliverables for external audit, Group and key stakeholders
- Period-end journals, operating costs, recharges and central accruals
- Balance sheet reviews and presentation of findings
- Supporting financial control queries and investigations
- Finance projects and process improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Minimum 3 years’ PQE
- Strong hands-on FX / foreign exchange reporting and revaluation experience
- Strong financial reporting, controls and period-end experience
- Advanced Excel
- SAP/HFM or experience with another major ERP/reporting system
Job Details
- Location: Derby – 3 days per week on-site, increasing to 4 during statutory reporting periods
- Pay: Up to £550 per day Umbrella
- Duration: Up to 12 months, with likelihood of extension
- Hours: 37 hours per week
