Interim Finance Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Rate: £400 per day
TalentEdge are working with a fast-growing energy business looking for a Finance Analyst to provide additional support to their commercial finance team on an interim basis.
This is a hands-on analytical role supporting forecasting, performance reporting, and commercial decision-making across a growing and evolving business.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and longer-term financial plans.
- Producing monthly performance reporting, including analysis of actuals against budget and forecast.
- Investigating key revenue, cost, and margin variances and providing clear commentary.
- Building and maintaining financial models to support forecasting and commercial decision-making.
- Supporting scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis around growth, costs, and investment.
- Improving the quality and efficiency of financial reporting and analysis.
About You:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA / CAANZ qualified.
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capability.
- Interest in automation, AI-enabled working, and continuous improvement.
- Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, VBA, Python, SAP, or SAC would be advantageous.
- Previous experience within energy or renewables would be advantageous.
