Role Overview
Amazon's finance teams support strategic decisions through performance metrics, financial modelling and data analysis. This internship gives students ownership of projects that affect business operations while developing commercial judgement, quantitative skills and experience with AI-enabled finance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse financial data and trends to identify cost and efficiency opportunities.
- Create reports, forecasts and KPI dashboards that support business decisions.
- Complete financial assessments that inform solutions and improve customer value.
- Automate processes and strengthen data quality.
- Work with stakeholders across teams and contribute to strategic planning, analysis and reporting.

Internship Experience
This paid placement lasts between three and 12 months and is full time at 40 hours per week. It includes mentoring, professional-development training and access to employee benefits. Successful interns may be considered for a graduate role. Start dates are available between January and September 2027, and the role is based in London.
Basic Qualifications
- Penultimate- or final-year student expecting to graduate after the internship.
- Degree studies in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or another relevant applied science.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and English at C1 level or above.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with large datasets, data visualisation, Oracle, VBA, SQL or MySQL.
- Basic knowledge of and interest in artificial intelligence.
