Financial Analyst
Location: London, UK
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing boutique advisory firm focused on supporting clients across the energy, infrastructure, and sustainable investment sectors. The organisation works with growth-stage companies, investors, and corporate clients to develop strategic growth plans, execute transactions, and deliver investment solutions in rapidly evolving markets.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of advisory and transaction activities within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members and clients, contributing to both business development and transaction execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of pitch presentations, teasers, and other marketing materials.
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation assessments, and financial modelling.
- Support the production of transaction documentation, including teasers, information memoranda, and related materials.
- Coordinate communication and information flow among transaction stakeholders.
- Assist throughout the transaction lifecycle, including due diligence, Q&A management, and engagement with clients and external advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
- Undertake market research and industry analysis and maintain standard presentation materials.
- Prepare case studies and transaction summaries for completed projects.

Education and Experience
- Degree educated, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or a similar analytical environment is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and accounting principles.
- Experience building and maintaining financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and merger and acquisition models.
- Experience preparing presentations, transaction materials, management presentations, pipeline reports, and supporting analytical documentation.

- Strong interest in sustainable infrastructure, energy, and investment markets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European language skills are beneficial.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
