Financial Analyst

Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) based in Pinewood, with a move to Maidenhead scheduled for October 2026

Duration: Immediate start, with the contract running until the end of June 2027

Hours: Standard hours are 37 hours per week

Imagine your next project supporting Project Osprey in a key contractor role within a dynamic global finance team, driving critical business transitions and lease management for an iconic global organisation.

This Financial Analyst role supports Project Osprey within Johnson & Johnson Finance Corporation (JJFC), a Treasury division that acts as Johnson & Johnson’s captive leasing company. JJFC provides guidance to all affiliates in support of leasing and credit decisions to affiliate customers requiring innovative solutions to facilitate capital equipment purchases.

The candidate will join a global finance team of 25 spanning the UK, US, and Germany, working directly within an immediate team of 7.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support legal entity separation and transition activities, including intercompany settlement analysis, reconciliations and validation activities.
  • Perform reconciliations, data validation and testing to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Support system and process cutover activities, including lease system migrations, procurement-related transitions and associated finance processes.
  • Support lease related activities, including amendments, close-outs, asset sales, invoicing activities, and overall managing leasing activities.
  • Assist with the review and update of intercompany agreements, lease agreements and supporting finance documentation.
  • Support legal entity moves related to the project.
  • Support statutory reporting activities as required, including reconciliations, supporting schedules and documentation for audit and compliance.
  • Provide financial analysis and transaction processing support across core finance activities, including intercompany, VAT and lease-related and fleet support processes, as well as supporting team stakeholders.
  • Support customer and supplier communications and notifications.
  • Collaborate across the team to support policy updates, process documentation and training activities.

How to Succeed

  • A newly or partially qualified finance professional, or holder of a Finance, Accounting, Economics or related degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proactive and independent, with strong collaboration skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and reconcile financial data.
  • Effective communication skills, with an ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team and across functions and countries.
  • Highly motivated, proactive and able to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Methodical approach with strong planning and prioritisation skills to meet strict timelines, as well as attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.

Benefits

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for immediate start until the end of June 2027.
