Your Key Responsibilities
- Production of timely and accurate financial reports for the Pension Fund including annual accounts and annual report.
- Ensuring the financial ledger reconciles to relevant records for LGPS and Teachers’ Pensions contributions and payments.
- Ensuring income and expenditure is completely and correctly reported in the Fund’s accounts. Resolving issues in the ledger where applicable.
- To provide monitoring information as required to assist in the management of the Fund.
- Processing year-end adjustments e.g. accruals, valuations, etc.
- Completion of notes to the pension fund accounts with high quality working papers.
- Ensuring that auditors’ queries are dealt with promptly.
- Completion of statutory and statistical data returns in accordance with their requirements.
- Support the production of reports to Pension Fund Committees and Boards.
- Opportunity to support the team in investment matters including development of investment strategy and facilitating transactions.
