Overview
We're hiring a tech-savvy, ambitious finance professional to support a growing group of businesses. This role is ideal for someone who wants broad exposure, enjoys working across both core finance operations and commercial/analytical tasks, and is excited by a fast-moving environment.
This person will help strengthen the day-to-day finance function, improve efficiency, and create more capacity for higher-value planning, forecasting, and reporting work.
What You'll Do
- Assist with the month-end close cycle and the production of management accounts
- Work with our data team to build out impactful and efficient financial-reporting to aid decision making
- Maintain accuracy across systems including Xero and Pleo
- Support the FC on financial models, reporting, and forecasting
- Help with credit control / chasing debt across the group
- Help improve finance processes, controls, and efficiency
- Support a wide range of ad hoc finance tasks in a growing business environment

What We're Looking For
- Part-qualified finance professional, or working toward a qualification
- A few years of relevant experience in a finance role
- Comfortable across both transactional finance and analysis / reporting
- Strong systems confidence and an interest in data, tools, and more efficient ways of working
- Ambitious, eager to learn, and keen to progress quickly in finance
- Likely to thrive in a smaller, fast-moving business where priorities vary and people wear multiple hats
Ideal Background
- Experience in a startup, scaleup, or small business finance team
- Exposure to a broad finance remit rather than a narrow specialism
- Familiarity with cloud finance tools and modern finance workflows

Working Style
- 2 days per week in the office
- A varied, hands-on environment suited to someone who enjoys being involved in a lot of moving parts
Salary
Indicative salary of around £40,000, with some flexibility depending on market rates and experience.
