Financial Analyst
Location: United Kingdom
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business decision-making. The successful candidate will analyse financial data, prepare reports, identify trends, and provide useful insights to support business performance. This role is suitable for candidates with financial analysis experience as well as individuals looking to develop their career in finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse financial data, business performance, and financial trends.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
- Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, costs, and key financial performance indicators.
- Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain financial models and spreadsheets.
- Collect, review, and validate financial information from different sources.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Work with finance and other business teams to support financial decision-making.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good understanding of financial principles and business performance.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good Excel and spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Previous financial analysis experience is beneficial but not essential for entry-level candidates.
