Financial Operations Analyst – 12-Month Contract

Location: London – Hybrid
Contract: 12 months
Hours: 40 hours per week
Potential travel: Lisbon, London, South Africa or Kenya
Experience level: 5–10 years

Join a global technology company supporting the financial operations of a major international telecommunications infrastructure project connecting Europe, Africa and India. This is an operational finance role focused on multi-party billing, reconciliations, invoice management and stakeholder coordination rather than traditional accounting or financial modelling.

This role would suit someone with an operational finance background who enjoys coordinating across multiple organisations, managing invoices and resolving billing issues, rather than a traditional accounting or financial modelling role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial reconciliations, invoice processing and payment workflows across multiple parties and organisations.
  • Track budgets, costs, purchase orders and outstanding invoices, following up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports using Google Sheets, Docs, Drive and other reporting tools.
  • Coordinate with telecommunications partners, consortium members, external organisations and senior stakeholders.
  • Support the financial administration and governance of a large-scale international infrastructure project.
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation while handling confidential consortium information under NDA.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple countries and time zones, supporting compliance with GDPR and UK data protection requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
