About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our client's finance team. This full-time role offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility to work both remotely and on-site. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various financial activities, including financial reporting, month-end processes, and key business operations. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to develop their skill set within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of finance principles and experience in managing payroll, fixed assets, reconciliations, and invoicing processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, payroll processing, fixed asset management, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proactive attitude, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Relevant professional certifications or ongoing development in finance considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Processing payroll journals and supporting payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely salary payments.
  • Managing fixed asset control, including recording, monitoring, and depreciation calculations.
  • Preparing VAT returns and conducting detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Handling intercompany invoicing, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing.
  • Supporting month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.
  • Assisting with statutory audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Monitoring forex reporting and providing insights into currency fluctuations affecting financial statements.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial data integrity and support business operations.
