Finance Analyst | Specialty Insurance Group | London (Hybrid)
A well-capitalised specialty insurance and reinsurance business is hiring a Finance Analyst to join a growing finance function. It's a business in a genuinely exciting growth phase, one that pairs strong underwriting discipline with real investment in data, analytics and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, analysing variances and acting as a go-to contact for queries from across the business
- Support capital and liquidity work: annual plan inputs, multi-year capital planning, and regulatory and credit-rating submissions
- Contribute to regulatory stress testing and reporting processes
- Get involved in ad hoc analysis and evaluation, from scenario modelling to due diligence input on wider corporate projects
- Help drive process improvement across finance, including exploring how AI can make reporting and analysis smarter and simpler

What We're Looking For:
- Strong analytical skills and genuine curiosity to interrogate the numbers
- Experience interpreting insurance financial results and key ratios
- Robust Excel and financial modelling skills
- Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for AI and new technology, and a willingness to experiment with it
