Role Description
The Financial and Accounts Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing financial operations and account management across global business units. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger entries, payables and receivables, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting in line with relevant standards and company policies. The manager will monitor cash flow, support forecasting and financial planning, and collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and client billing. In addition, the role includes supervising finance and accounts staff, improving internal controls and processes, supporting audits and compliance requirements, and providing financial insights to leadership for data-driven decision-making. The Financial and Accounts Manager will also partner with customer-facing teams to resolve account-related queries and maintain strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Finance, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
- Proven experience in Account Management, including client account oversight, billing accuracy, and revenue tracking.
- Demonstrated skills in Customer Service, with the ability to address account queries and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Experience collaborating with Sales teams to align financial processes with contracts, pricing, and revenue objectives.
- Effective Team Management capabilities, including supervising finance staff, delegating tasks, and developing team performance.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and standards; experience with accounting and ERP software tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills, with attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly across global teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, technology-driven organization.
