💰 Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 dependent on experience.

The Role
We're looking for a proactive and organised Finance Assistant to join our growing finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transactional finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
You'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, helping to ensure smooth financial operations across purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking, reconciliations, and month-end activities. Working closely with the Financial Accountant and wider finance team, you'll help maintain robust financial records while contributing to the continued growth of Compleo Health.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the finance inbox and respond to routine finance queries.
- Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Match purchase invoices to purchase orders and follow up on outstanding approvals.
- Record supplier payments and customer receipts.
- Process payment runs and complete bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
- Review and process staff expenses and company card transactions.
- Support month-end processes by ensuring financial records are complete and up to date.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
- Provide administrative and finance support to the Financial Accountant and wider finance team.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
- Good understanding of purchase and sales ledger processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems (Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous).
- Experience completing bank reconciliations.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to follow up on outstanding information.
- A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach.
