Job Description
Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in West Yorkshire for a Finance Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will support the coordination of referrals, ordering processes, and scheduling of equipment deliveries, collections, and servicing. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate records, managing financial processes, and ensuring excellent customer service across all interactions.

- Coordinate and process referrals, ensuring all information is accurate, complete, and recorded within internal systems
- Schedule deliveries, collections, and servicing of community equipment, optimising routes and timelines
- Raise and process purchase orders and invoices in line with financial procedures and controls
- Maintain records and produce performance, financial, and service activity reports for management
Candidate Criteria
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging a range of stakeholders
- Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and database management, with accurate data handling skills
- Knowledge or experience of financial systems and administrative processes within a service environment
- Experience working with older and/or disabled people and their carers desirable
