Finance Assistant (Temp – 4 to 6 weeks)
Holborn (3 days) + Home (2 days)
£17.50–£18 per hour + holiday pay
A sharp, reliable Finance Assistant is needed for an immediate-start assignment supporting a busy professional membership secretariat. You’ll keep the finance function running smoothly across income, expenditure, invoicing, and general admin - with accuracy, pace, and great stakeholder care.
What you’ll be doing
- Processing bank transactions, invoices, subscriptions, and payments with precision
- Managing sales and purchase ledger tasks
- Supporting year-end prep, reconciliations, and auditor queries
- Providing friendly, efficient admin support to the wider team
- Handling member queries, certificates, direct debits, and subscription chasing

- Solid finance admin/bookkeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and organized working style
- Confidence using finance systems, databases, and web-based tools
- A proactive, helpful approach - happy to muck in where needed
