💻 What we’re looking for

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Assistant for a part-time contract position. This role is essential for maintaining the health of our customer accounts and card spend analysis. The successful candidate will manage customer activity, debt reporting, and operational spend. This is a remote-friendly, part-time position requiring high levels of autonomy and professional communication skills.

🏟️ Our Location

Our London office is at Bankside, with the commercial team located across the globe, as well as development teams in Poland and Ukraine.

Our office is naturally social, especially Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays, when we have regular team drinks, celebrations and five-a-side football.

🎯 Key responsibilities for the role

Customer Communication

  • Conduct proactive customer contact to maintain relationship health and address account status.
  • Monitor and manage professional customer responses across communication channels.
  • Oversee and execute necessary actions within the debt platform to streamline the accounts receivable process.
  • Lead investigations into account discrepancies

Debt Reporting

  • Communicate the debt position to relevant stakeholders, and ensure all debt dashboards have live information.
  • Provide regular case updates to account managers.
  • Participate in ad hoc meetings to discuss account statuses and reporting trends.

Spend Management

  • Process and reconcile corporate card spend transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.
  • Monitor and enforce internal travel and expense policies to maintain compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Enhance and standardise spend data to support robust, project-based financial reporting and analysis.

Who you are

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive financial discussions professionally.
  • Problem Solving: A proactive approach to investigating queries and finding resolutions for customer account issues.
  • Languages: English and Spanish (additional languages are a strength).
