Role Description
The Financial Assistant role at Retail-FCL is a full-time, on-site position based in Basingstoke. The Financial Assistant will support day-to-day financial operations, including:

This role will also help with:
- Reconciliations
- Financial reporting
- Analysis to support decision-making and ensure compliance with company policies
The Financial Assistant will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, respond to finance-related queries, and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Finance and Accounting skills, including familiarity with basic financial principles and record-keeping.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support reporting and forecasting.
- Invoicing skills, including preparing, reviewing, and processing invoices accurately and on time.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, vendors, and clients.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software tools is beneficial.
- Relevant education in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are important.
