Camino Partners are delighted to be partnering with a growing international professional services business to appoint a Finance Assistant into its expanding finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within finance. Working alongside an experienced finance team, you'll gain exposure across a broad range of transactional finance responsibilities, with clear opportunities to develop into payroll, financial operations and wider finance processes as your experience grows.

The business operates internationally and supports multiple entities, making this a varied role where no two days are the same. We're looking for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent common sense and a proactive attitude who enjoys working within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day credit control activities, proactively chasing outstanding debt and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Monitor the sales ledger, investigate outstanding balances and resolve invoice or payment queries.
  • Allocate customer receipts and perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Support both the purchase ledger and sales ledger, assisting with invoice processing, payment runs and supplier queries.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and other routine finance activities.
  • Produce aged debt reports and provide updates on cash collection performance.
  • Work closely with the wider finance team to improve cash flow and support working capital management.
  • Provide support across payroll administration, with full training to develop responsibility for multiple payrolls over time.
  • Assist with finance administration and operational processes as required, providing additional support during busy periods.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting and controls while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
