🚨 Finance Assistant | Liverpool Street | circa £30K

One of our favourite clients - a friendly and social recruitment agency we have worked with for over 10 years, are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team.

They’re a collaborative, social and supportive team, with a great culture.

This role would involve assisting the Finance Manager and Director across all aspects of the Finance department. There is management accounting exposure to be gained in this role and includes many of the perks of working within a smaller company – autonomy, personalised benefits packages, creative socials and a highly-visible connection between effort and financial reward.

Duties and Responsibilities of role:

  • Invoicing

    • Manually raise client invoices based on timesheets (days worked) and chargeable expenses
    • Cross-check invoices against timesheets and expense records for accuracy before issuing
  • Timesheet & Freelancer Payments (AP)

    • Process timesheet payments (Accounts Payable), including freelancer time billed and associated expenses
    • Check and reconcile data via the client portal
    • Ensure freelancer billing is accurate and complete before payment runs

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
