Role: Accounts Assistant Sector: Business Consultancy Full time / Permanent: Hybrid 3 days in the office (likely 4 initially to get up to speed) | 9:00am – 6:00pm Location: West London Salary: £32,000-35,000 + study support Reporting to: Senior Finance Manager Ref: VFR3316
VisionFR is delighted to be working with this successful and growing Business Consultancy operating in the UK & US, to help in their search for a new Accounts Assistant.
The role is a rounded Accounts Assistant position covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Reconciliations and month-end support, plus more. As the business grows so will your opportunities. Our client strongly believes in supporting the development of its people and over time the scope of the role will expand and provide more exposure to reporting activities and supporting the management accounting.

Key Responsibilities
- Raising and issuing customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Accounts Receivable function, maintaining accurate records of customer transactions
- Credit control, following up on outstanding invoices when required
- Accounts Payable process, including processing supplier invoices and processing payments
- Completing bank reconciliations across GBP, EUR and USD accounts
- Allocating incoming payments and maintaining accurate customer ledgers
- Assisting with month-end processes and finance administration
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant role
- Experience with invoicing and Accounts Receivable
- Exposure to bank reconciliations
- Experience using Xero is hugely advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a creative, marketing or professional services consultancy will be advantageous.
