This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a small finance function and work closely with the Finance Manager and Finance Director, gaining exposure across a broad range of finance activities. Alongside the day-to-day transactional responsibilities, there will be the opportunity to develop your management accounting knowledge, take on additional responsibility and build a longer-term career within the business.

The Role:
You will support the Finance Manager and Finance Director across the day-to-day running of the finance function, with particular responsibility for invoicing, freelancer payments, reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Raise and process client invoices based on timesheets, days worked and chargeable expenses, ensuring all information is accurate before invoices are issued
- Process freelancer timesheets and payments, including checking billing information and associated expenses through client portals
- Verify and maintain freelancer bank details, ensuring new and existing payment information is accurate and up to date
- Complete monthly Amex and company credit card reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
- Support the wider finance team with reconciliations, AP processes and other transactional finance activities
- Gain exposure to management accounting, working alongside the Finance Manager and Finance Director on wider reporting and finance projects
