Assistant Accountant
A growing real estate firm in London is looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join its finance team. This is a newly created role due to the growth of the business and its large portfolio. This role is ideal for candidates early in their career with study support included and career development being a top priority for the firm.
The business is on a path of automation and very keen to have candidates who have been involved in improving processes and efficiencies with their various systems.

What you will be doing:
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Review and analyse financial statements across multiple entities
- Assist with consolidations and reporting packs for senior management
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
- Liaise with external auditors and support year-end audit processes
- Contribute to process improvements and internal controls
What we are looking for:

- Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) - study support available
- Solid technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS (US GAAP exposure a plus)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and has experience with ERP systems
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
