Job Summary
Somerset Community College invites applications for a Financial Assistant III position.
Job Duties
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Serving as Cashier including collection and posting of tuition utilizing PeopleSoft application
- Processing daily deposits
- Processing and resolving issues with student accounts
- Ensuring compliance with college cash handling procedures
- Assisting with third party sponsored accounts and student receivables
- Managing college inventory, including annual audits and surplus sales
- Managing college vehicle reservations
- And other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and two years related experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of a current, strong, demonstrated background in cash handling/management and customer service.
