EA First is partnering exclusively with a well-established not-for-profit organisation to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant for an initial three month contract. This is a fully remote opportunity, we are specifically looking for someone with hands-on Sage Intacct experience who can quickly integrate into a small finance team and provide support across transactional finance.
About our Client:
Our client is a highly regarded, purpose led organisation operating within the not-for-profit sector. With a busy and varied finance function, they require additional support over the next three months and are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal systems training. Due to the remote nature of the assignment, previous Sage Intacct experience is essential.
Job Description:
You will provide hands-on support across purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking and wider transactional finance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
