Financial Business Consultant - Entry-level Graduate Role
Location: London
Employment type: Full-time, perm
Starting salary: £29,000 / £50K - £60K OTE in first year with commission
We have an exciting opportunity with a global executive search firm specialising in capital markets recruitment across both the buy-side and sell-side financial sectors. The firm partners with leading financial institutions and market participants across Equities, Derivatives, FX/Currencies, and Fixed Income/Credit markets.
The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a rewarding career in executive search and financial markets recruitment within a growing company.
You do not need previous recruitment experience. We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the determination to succeed in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Working alongside experienced consultants, you will receive comprehensive training in candidate sourcing, market research, business development, client engagement, and executive search methodologies.

- Identify and engage high-calibre professionals within global financial markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients.
- Conduct market mapping and research to identify talent within specialist sectors.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and database searches.
- Screen and interview prospective candidates to assess suitability.
- Prepare candidate profiles and present shortlisted talent to clients.
- Coordinate interview processes and maintain regular communication with candidates.
- Develop knowledge of capital markets and financial services sectors.
- Support senior consultants on retained and contingent search assignments.
- Maintain accurate records within the company's CRM and recruitment systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the recruitment process.
- Contribute to achieving individual and team performance targets.
What We're Looking For:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confidence speaking with professionals and senior stakeholders.
- High levels of motivation, resilience, and self-discipline.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A professional and consultative approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in financial markets, recruitment, or professional services.
- Money motivated (average fee size is £48K)
