Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager – Digital & Data Office

Job Type

Full-time, Permanent (UK) | Initial contract of 12 months followed by an indefinite contract (Netherlands)

Salary Range

• UK: HG16 – £49,815 – £71,296 • NL: €76,033 – €114,049 (dependent on experience)

Location

• Cardiff (UK) | The Hague (Netherlands)

Working Arrangement

Hybrid: 1 day in-office

About the Role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function is the backbone of disciplined, forward-thinking decision-making across the IB. As the Digital & Data Office (DDO) scales, modernises, and invests heavily in multiyear programmes, it requires a financial partner who can deliver high-standard support at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

As FP&A Manager, you will:

  • Partnership with Leadership: Act as the primary financial business partner to the DDO senior/leadership team, including the Chief Digital & Data Officer, providing:

    • Strategic financial oversight
    • Planning & performance management
    • Support for large-scale, multiyear digital/technology projects and transformation initiatives
  • Hard Financial Stewardship, Softer Business Advisory: Combine financial governance with executive advisory, ensuring:

    • Transparency across project lifecycles
    • Cost discipline and rigorous financial rigor
    • Risk and opportunity management for long-term digital investments

  • Alignment & Commercial Insight: Work closely with DDO stakeholders, domain leaders, and Finance/HR teams to:
    • Translate strategic priorities into financial plans
    • Bridge budgets & execution timelines
    • Assist leadership with informed trade-offs in a highly dynamic, project-driven environment
