Looking for a Financial Controller role where you can make a genuine impact?
We're partnering with a growing, multi-site business to appoint a commercially minded Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO, you'll lead the finance function, manage and develop a high-performing team, and play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
The Role
This is a broad, hands-on position, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to influence the wider business. Responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the finance team.
- Delivering accurate monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
- Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring statutory compliance.
- Partnering with operational leaders to provide commercial insight and support decision-making.
- Driving process improvements and enhancing finance systems.

About You
We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or similar leadership role.
You'll also bring:
- Strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams.
- A commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems.
- Experience within a multi-site or multi-entity environment.
