TIC Health Group

Location: The Hiv, Edgware, London
Employment: Full-time
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Direct reports: Two Accounts Assistants

About TIC Health

TIC Health is a growing healthcare and diagnostic imaging group delivering services across the UK. Our operations span community diagnostic centres, fixed imaging facilities and a national fleet of mobile and relocatable CT, MRI and other diagnostic systems.

As the Group expands, we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead our day-to-day finance function, strengthen financial controls and provide reliable information to support business decisions.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of financial reporting, core accounting processes, cash-flow visibility and the management of two Accounts Assistants.

This is a hands-on role with broad responsibility across the Group. You will be equally comfortable reviewing management accounts, resolving reconciliation issues, supporting your team and discussing financial performance with operational managers.

You will work closely with the CFO, CEO and operational leadership team, helping the business understand its performance and ensuring that finance processes keep pace with growth. The role offers the opportunity to improve systems, shape reporting and make a tangible contribution to how the Group operates.

Key Responsibilities

Management Accounts and Reporting

  • Own the monthly management accounts process across the Group, delivering accurate reporting to agreed deadlines.
  • Prepare monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow reports, supported by clear commentary and analysis.
  • Develop reporting by company, business unit, service, contract and location, as appropriate.
  • Maintain complete balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Analyse material variances against budgets and forecasts, highlighting the causes and implications for the business.
  • Provide timely financial information to the CFO and CEO, and support the development of management dashboards and KPI reporting.

Finance Operations and Team Leadership

  • Lead the day-to-day accounts function, setting priorities and supporting the development of two Accounts Assistants.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, bank reconciliations, payment runs and expenses.
  • Ensure supplier invoices are correctly authorised, coded and processed, and customer invoices are raised accurately and promptly.
  • Actively manage outstanding debtors and resolve payment or invoicing issues with relevant colleagues.
  • Ensure intercompany transactions and balances are accurately recorded and reconciled.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
