Financial Controller | High-Growth Tech / SaaS Scale-Up | London Hybrid

£80,000–£90,000 plus bonus and benefits

I'm currently partnering with a high-growth Tech / SaaS business as they look to appoint a Financial Controller to support the next phase of their growth journey. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a highly visible role within a scaling international business. You'll play a key role in developing financial controls, improving reporting processes and supporting the business as it continues to grow globally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning the month-end close process and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting board and investor reporting
  • Managing group consolidations across multiple international entities
  • Leading the year-end audit process and acting as the key point of contact for external auditors
  • Overseeing statutory reporting, tax compliance and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities
  • Partnering with commercial teams to provide financial insight and analysis
  • Driving improvements to financial controls, processes and governance frameworks
  • Leading finance systems and automation projects to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Supporting international expansion, including entity setup and operational finance requirements
  • Managing and developing junior members of the finance team
  • Working closely with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and future growth plans

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
