Finance Manager / Controller SME - Fully Remote
Our client is a £15m division of a global group seeking an entry-level Financial Controller. Ideal for a Finance Manager looking to step up into an FC role. Would suit straight from practice as well as industry trained.
It is essential you are a fully qualified accountant and preferably have experience working within the telecommunications sector. IFRS 15/16 would be hugely beneficial. The role can be based anywhere in the UK, but you must be working and living in the UK as occasional on-site meetings will be required.
The Financial Controller role offers remote management and will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations.
About the Role
As Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for overseeing financial management, corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, and internal controls. You’ll lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while also managing audits, financial reporting, and cash flow.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Revenue Recognition
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax, VAT, and statutory reporting
- Manage cash flow, payroll, and month-end accounts
- Lead financial audits, internal controls, and IFRS compliance
- Conduct financial forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning
- Support reporting to the parent company, including quarterly and annual financial reviews
What We’re Looking For

- Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in audit and financial control
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS reporting, financial processes, and internal controls
- Previous experience and understanding of accounting for Multi Entities
- Proficiency in financial systems such as NetSuite, BPC, and Salesforce
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
