Financial Controller | High-Growth Financial Services
£70,000 + Attractive Benefits Package
We’re partnering with a highly successful, entrepreneurial financial services business to recruit a Financial Controller as they continue through an exciting period of growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and commercially driven organisation with a genuinely strong culture. The business has grown rapidly, has further significant plans ahead, and is looking for a talented finance professional who wants to develop their career alongside that journey.
Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you’ll take ownership of the financial control environment while playing a key role in developing the finance function as the business scales.

The role
You’ll have responsibility for:
- Financial reporting and month-end ownership
- Management and statutory accounts
- Cash flow and working capital management
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Developing robust financial controls and processes
- Supporting audit, tax and regulatory requirements
- Improving systems, reporting and finance processes
- Providing commercial insight to senior stakeholders
- Supporting wider strategic projects as the business continues to grow
Who we're looking for
This could particularly suit one of two profiles:
- A first move from practice — likely ACA/ACCA qualified, commercially minded and looking for the opportunity to take genuine ownership within an entrepreneurial business.
- An ambitious Financial Controller/Finance Manager from a start-up, scale-up or high-growth SME environment who understands the pace, variety and hands-on nature of an evolving finance function.

Salary: £65,000 to £75,000 + attractive benefits package
