Are you an experienced Qualified Financial Controller looking to step into a strategic role for a newly acquired business based in Ipswich?

This is a newly created role for a business looking for a Financial Controller to join their senior leadership team and take ownership of the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, financial planning and help drive business performance.

As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the financial control and operations including looking at ways of streamlining Account Payable, Receivable, Management Accounts and Statutory requirements
  • Project-lead for annual budgets and forecasts whilst supporting strategic decision-making through financial modelling and analysis
  • Acting as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership creating a pricing strategy, resource planning and profitability improvement
  • Leading, mentoring and managing a finance team and collaborating with department heads to help facilitate business growth

As a Financial Controller you will have:

  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified
  • Track record operating as a Financial Controller
  • Excellent team management experience and working on various projects
