🔍 Financial Controller – West Kent Primary Care
📍 Pembury (hybrid: min. 2 days/week on-site) | ⏰ 30–37.5 hrs/week
We’re looking for an experienced, proactive Financial Controller to lead financial governance, compliance, and reporting across our growing GP Federation. Working closely with senior leaders, clinicians, and NHS partners, you’ll ensure robust controls, accurate reporting, and effective stewardship of public funds—playing a pivotal role in our strategic plan and financial stability.
âś… Key responsibilities:
- Own month-end close, management accounts, and board-level reporting
- Maintain strong financial controls, balance sheet integrity, and audit readiness
- Lead cash flow forecasting, treasury, and contract management
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Manage and mentor the finance team, driving continuous improvement

✅ You’ll bring:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in management accounts, financial controls, and NHS/healthcare finance
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and people management abilities
