Financial Controller

Salary: Competitive
Location: Milton Keynes
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – minimum 60% of time at an office or business site, with the remainder available for home working
Contract: Permanent

Overview

Our client, a major automotive business, is recruiting a Financial Controller to take financial responsibility for a vehicle brand or group aftersales function.

Reporting to the Head of Controlling, you will lead budgeting and forecasting, analyse financial performance, and provide commercial advice to senior management. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence financial and commercial performance across the business.

  • Take responsibility for the financial performance of a vehicle brand or group aftersales function.
  • Establish and manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyse financial performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
  • Provide commercial and financial advice to senior management.
  • Support the development of strategies and business cases.
  • Provide financial insight to support transparent, commercially focused decision-making.
  • Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and influence across the business.

Requirements

  • Established senior finance management experience.
  • CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification.
  • Good knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience working closely with board-level and other senior stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship management and influencing capability.
