Financial Controller Opportunity

A fast-growing, multi-site healthcare services business is looking for a Financial Controller to join at an exciting stage of growth. The business has ambitious plans to scale significantly over the next few years and is looking for someone who can get on top of its systems and data, build strong relationships with operators across sites, and bring real commercial insight as the business expands into new locations.

Responsibilities for the Role

  • Take ownership of monthly management accounts and ensure they are accurate and delivered on time
  • Produce clear KPI and trading reports that give real insight into performance across sites
  • Get on top of the current systems and data, bringing everything together so it can be trusted and used properly by the wider team
  • Lead on data automation, systems implementation and process improvement projects, this is a meaningful piece of change that will touch several parts of the business
  • Business partner with operators and partners across sites, helping them understand and act on their KPIs
  • Support expansion plans with financial modelling, including assessing the impact of opening new sites near existing ones
  • Manage one direct report along with an outsourced transactional finance team
  • Support budgeting and forecasting, working closely with the wider team to keep everything aligned

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Already operating at Financial Controller level, ideally with a route towards Head of Finance or FD in time
  • Strong Excel skills, with genuine interest in automation, AI and systems projects
  • Comfortable getting hands on with data and systems rather than just reviewing outputs
  • Commercially minded, able to think beyond the numbers and work well with non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience in a multi-site business is an advantage
  • A confident communicator who builds trust quickly with partners and operators
