Financial Controller Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified (ACA/CIMA equivalent) Financial Controller to join a fast-growing hospitality business entering an exciting phase of expansion. This role will take ownership of financial reporting, audit delivery, budgeting and forecasting, while playing a key role in supporting new market launches and the development of financial operations across multiple territories.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to make a genuine impact within a scaling business.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and ownership of monthly board reporting packs, including consolidation across UK operations, international entities and US trading activities.
- Production and analysis of weekly trading reports to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Leading the annual audit process and acting as the primary contact for external auditors.
- Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including preparation of presentations and financial insights for leadership.
- Assisting with international expansion initiatives, helping establish reporting frameworks and finance operations across new territories.
- Supporting key finance functions including tax, treasury, supplier payments, and payroll as the business grows.
- Managing and developing a small team.
- Driving process improvements, controls, and reporting enhancements across the finance function.

Ideal Candidate

- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
- Previous experience within industry, ideally in hospitality, leisure, retail, or another consumer-facing business.
- Strong financial reporting and consolidation experience.
- Experience managing audits and working with external auditors.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in a growing business environment.
- Experience supporting multi-entity or international operations would be advantageous.
