Financial Controller Opportunity – East Sussex
£75,000-85,000 plus 15% bonus, plus benefits, plus 2 days WFH
Grafton Banks Finance is working exclusively with an international manufacturing business in East Sussex in their search for a competent and credible Financial Controller with IFRS experience. In the medium to long term there is potential for this role to become Financial Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS reporting to parent company in accordance with group instructions.
- Lead the monthly management and board meetings (UK)
- Liaise and report on the US Subsidiaries
- Implementing IFRS across all reporting.
- Manage contact with auditors and banks.
- Prepare statutory annual financial statements, annual corporate tax returns, multi-currency work and forex.
- Lead, mentor and develop a finance team of 4.

The Successful Candidate
- A fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA), ideally with a practice training
- 6 years+ post qualified experience of IFRS reporting and leadership
- Evidence of holding responsibility for monthly accounts for an SME, as well as quarterly and year end reporting.
- Able to demonstrate strong core technical accounting knowledge - IFRS
- Happy to be on-site 3 days per week in East Sussex. (London based candidates cannot be considered for this role)
- Candidates who have spent 5 years+ with each previous employer is of importance to this client.
