Financial Controller | FMCG Scale-Up 📍 London – Hybrid 💰 £70,000–£80,000 + Bonus
Talentedge are partnering with a fast-growing FMCG business to hire a Financial Controller into their London finance team.
This is a broad, hands-on role sitting at the heart of the finance function, with responsibility for strengthening financial reporting, controls and processes as the business continues to scale.
Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you’ll take ownership of the core financial operations while working closely with commercial and operational stakeholders across the business.
The Role
- Own the month-end close and production of accurate management accounts
- Lead statutory reporting, audit and compliance requirements
- Manage cash flow, working capital and balance sheet reporting
- Oversee financial controls and continuously improve finance processes
- Support budgeting, forecasting and wider business planning
- Partner with commercial and operational teams around margin, stock, COGS and performance
- Drive improvements across finance systems, reporting and automation
- Support the continued development of the finance function as the business scales

About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Strong Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar experience
- Ideally experienced within FMCG, food & beverage, consumer products or another inventory-led environment
- Strong technical accounting and financial controls background
- Commercially minded and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing business
- Hands-on, proactive and keen to improve existing processes rather than simply maintain them
