The Opportunity

Finatal is partnered with an ambitious private equity-backed software business seeking a Finance Manager to support the next stage of its growth journey. With revenues of c.£10m and a clear buy-and-build strategy, the business is targeting significant expansion through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Operating across multiple European jurisdictions, the role will work closely with the CFO to strengthen financial controls, improve reporting processes and support the integration of future acquisitions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys operating in a growing international environment and wants exposure to M&A, international expansion and business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across multiple entities.
  • Lead month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations and financial control processes.
  • Produce consolidated group reporting and support board-level reporting requirements.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting across the group.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support acquisition activity, including due diligence, integration and post-deal finance processes.
  • Drive improvements in financial controls, processes and reporting frameworks.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders across different locations to improve financial visibility and performance.
  • Support finance systems and process enhancement initiatives as the business continues to scale.
  • Work closely with the CFO on strategic projects, growth initiatives and international expansion plans.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
