Looking for more than just another Financial Controller role?

This is an opportunity to become the senior finance lead within a growing international SME with operations across the UK, India and North America.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll have the autonomy to shape the finance function, improve reporting, strengthen controls and become a trusted commercial partner to the leadership team.

If you enjoy making a real impact rather than being a small cog in a large corporate, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the finance function, including:

  • Producing monthly management accounts and board reporting.
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
  • Improving financial controls and reporting processes.
  • Managing working capital, stock and profitability.
  • Overseeing VAT, payroll and year-end processes.
  • Supporting commercial decision-making and business growth.
  • Working closely with international operations as the business continues to expand.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
