Financial Controller
West London - £70,000 - £80,000 basic salary
Baker Charles is recruiting a Financial Controller for an international business based in West London. This is a broad finance leadership role, overseeing operations across the UK, US, India and Australia and working closely with the Board, senior leadership team and Group Finance.
The role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on financial control with commercial input and team development. You will lead the finance team across the UK and India, ensuring the business has accurate reporting, strong controls and clear financial insight to support decision-making.
- You will own monthly management accounts and reporting, providing meaningful commentary on performance and ensuring robust month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Your remit will also include Group reporting, intercompany accounting, statutory audits and international tax compliance, alongside cash flow forecasting, treasury and banking relationships.

As a key partner to senior stakeholders, you will turn financial information into practical recommendations and support technical accounting matters, financial due diligence and corporate transactions. You will also coach and develop the team, setting clear expectations and taking an active role in resolving more complex finance matters.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant experience as a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or in a comparable leadership position. You will bring strong technical accounting skills, experience managing audits and UK statutory accounts, and a track record of leading and developing a finance team.

- Experience of international operations, Group reporting, intercompany transactions and treasury is essential, alongside an understanding of cross-border tax considerations.
- Experience working with an India-based finance team would be advantageous.
