Financial Controller | Chester / Deeside | £65,000 - £80,000

An opportunity to join a growing business based in Deeside that are looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the day to day accounting for the site. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will have a broad range of duties and this role is ideally suited to an experienced, Qualified Accountant who can demonstrate experience in leading a team and driving excellence.

Main duties include;

  • Staff management of 4, responsible for all control accounts
  • Production of site management accounts & cash flow forecasts
  • Produce weekly variance reports with an emphasis on labour & materials
  • P&L management, reporting to the Finance Director and Ops Managers
  • Act as point of contact for queries internally, provide business partnering to relevant senior leadership
  • Ownership of UK balance sheet
  • Authorising all payments and escalation point for suppliers
  • Strict cash management, updating cash flow forecasts

Candidate profile;

  • CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified
  • Previous staff management
  • Strong cash management background
  • Previous experience in a costing environment preferred but not essential
  • Excellent Excel and system skills (ERP)
