Caesarstone is an award-winning international designer and manufacturer of premium engineered stone surfaces for a variety of uses and applications. These include bathroom vanities, flooring, quartz countertops, splash backs for kitchens for the commercial and residential interiors sector. We supply low silica and silica free materials, as well as porcelain surfaces. The brand has a reputation as a global design leader, as well as providing the best customer service to channel partners and consumers in the UK.

Following major expansion plans and the relocation of our Head Office and Distribution Centre, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller. The Financial Controller at Caesarstone UK will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. You will report directly to the Finance Director and be responsible for managing a dedicated finance team.

This is an office-based role and as a senior level of finance presence is required, you will be expected to be on-site at our Head Office in Enterprise Park, Lutterworth 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Finance Director when required
  • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and company policies
  • Manage the preparation and submission of periodic reports to group HQ
  • Support the budgeting process, including managing the preparation of detailed budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and investments
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax filings, audits, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity
  • Analyse and manage costs to enhance profitability and operational efficiency
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions
  • Work closely with senior management, department heads, and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors
  • Lead and manage a finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial systems, processes, and controls

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely
