Job Title: Financial Controller / Administrator / Buyer

Location: Substructure Ltd, Lotherton Way, Garforth, West Yorkshire (Fully Office-based)

Salary: Competitive / Negotiable depending on experience + Benefits

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an organised, local Financial Controller / Administrator / Buyer to join our team in Garforth. This is a fully office-based role designed for someone who thrives in a collaborative workspace and enjoys all aspects of business administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Control: Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts. Full training in our systems and procedures will be provided.
  • Daily Accounting: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns entirely within QuickBooks Online. Full training will be provided.
  • Administration: Manage sales and purchase invoices, staff training, budgets, and organisation buying of materials and general office administration to keep our operations running smoothly.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: A proven track record as a Financial Controller or Administrator.
  • Qualifications: Qualified by experience (QBE).
  • Tech Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and expert, hands-on experience with an accounting system for example QuickBooks Online.
  • Attributes: A proactive multi-tasker with sharp attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a preference for working in a dedicated office environment.
