Company Description

Geomiq is a leading London-based digital manufacturing marketplace revolutionizing production through an AI-powered B2B platform. Serving elite engineering brands like BMW, Rolls-Royce, and Google, Geomiq provides instant access to global production networks across the UK, China, and Portugal, covering CNC machining, sheet metal, and 3D printing.

Job Description

As the senior hands-on finance lead reporting to the CEO, you will build Geomiq’s finance function from the ground up. You’ll transition the company from basic systems to scalable controls, leading month-end cycles, statutory reporting, and international cash management while leveraging AI and automation to drive commercial insights and operational efficiency across global markets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why this role is remarkable

This is a true "build seat" where you design and implement the financial foundation, processes, and systems for a fast-growing scale-up rather than inheriting legacy infrastructure. Geomiq is the UK's leading Digital Manufacturing Marketplace, utilizing AI to digitize production for world-class innovators including Brompton Bikes and aerospace companies.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the end-to-end finance function, including month-end close, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and rigorous balance sheet control across international operations.
  • Partner with commercial and operational leaders to translate financial data into clear insights regarding gross margins, project profitability, and marketplace economics.
  • Implement scalable processes and AI-driven automation tools to improve data consistency between the Geomiq platform, operational workflows, and core accounting systems.
